1. Travel

①Travel这个单词用得许多呀，究竟每个人心中都有一个环游世界“travel around the world”的梦想啊。Travel一样平常指的是从一个地方到另一个地方去，尤其指远程旅行。

We’re planning to travel across America this summer.

我们设计今年夏天横穿美国旅行。

He has travelled extensively in China.

他游历了中国的许多地方。

②travel也可以作为名词来使用，就是指旅游。

Information on travel in New Zealand is available at the hotel.

新西兰的旅行信息可以在宾馆获取。

We met some very interesting people on our travels in Thailand.

我们在泰国旅游时碰着了一些很有趣的人。

*泛起travels的时刻，一样平常前面都市有one’s。

She has had many adventures in her travels.

2. Trip

①Trip作名词一样平常是指短期出行、旅行。

对照一下travel和trip：

Susan’s husband isn’t in town at the moment; he is on a business trip. He travels to many different countries. Susan met her husband on a trip to the Bahamas.

*不能说a travel。

Trip常用搭配：

A round trip 往返旅行

A business trip 出差

A day trip 一日游

②travel也能作动词，这时刻它示意绊倒的意思。

3. Journey

Journey和trip最大的差别在于，trip好比就是你从上海到米兰，旅程竣事后还要回到上海，这就是trip，一样平常待的时间对照短。而journey则没有时间是非的限制，而且你从上海到米兰之后也纷歧定会回上海。

而且journey一样平常指陆路、空路或海路旅行：

The nights became colder as they journeyed north.（他们北上的过程中，夜晚变得越来越冷）。

voyage通常指搭船或乘坐飞行器举行的远程旅行：the voyage to the moon in 1972（1972年的登月之旅）。
